White Canvas Thailand: A Platform for Thai Youth and Emerging Artists
Palette Artspace, in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and international art organization SPUTNIK, presents White Canvas Thailand, an art competition designed to support and empower Thai children and youth while discovering new generations of emerging artists.
Based on the concept of the “White Canvas” as a starting point for imagination and limitless possibilities, the project encourages young artists to express their creativity freely and share their perspectives on the world through art.
Now in its 6th consecutive year, White Canvas Thailand has been continuously supported by both the Japanese and Thai communities in Thailand, including the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, Japan Foundation, The Japanese Association in Thailand, and the Fine Arts Department.
This year, 40 selected artworks, shortlisted from an online exhibition round, will be showcased in the final exhibition at the Curved Wall, 3rd and 4th Floors, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) from 27 January to 8 February.
The public is also invited to support the artists and attend the voting and announcement of the Most Popular Artwork on Sunday, 1 February 2026 at 1:00 PM, at the Multi-Function Room, 1st Floor, BACC. The artist receiving the highest public vote will be offered an opportunity to exhibit their work with Palette Artspace in the future.
