The Ukrainian Community in Thailand supported by the “Ukrainian diplomatic spouses” community proudly presents the exhibitions “Culture vs War” and “Ukraine through the eyes of a Thai journalist” dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of Ukraine independence. At the exhibitions you will see the photographs taken in Ukraine over the past year and a half. These photos vividly show how the life of the Ukrainian people has changed during the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine. These photos depict the bravery and courage of the Ukrainian people fighting Russian aggression for their country’s freedom and their right to be free, live and create.

Photos of famous Ukrainian photographers and documentarians, showing the true face of war and destruction by Russia over the last year and a half.

“Ukraine through the eyes of a Thai journalist”

Photos of Karuna Buakamsri, a renowned Thai journalist and TV host, the first to travel to Ukraine under war in the spring of 2023. She witnessed the life and fight of the Ukrainian people and wants to share their stories with the people of Thailand.

🎥At the opening of the exhibition, there will be a screening of a short film from the “Culture vs War” project, the heroes of which are photographers Kostiantyn and Vlada Liberov (film director Kadim Tarasov).
