Watjanasin Char, also known as MrPalette (and to some, the whimsical MuTeLu), is a self-taught Thai visual artist whose work dances between traditional craftsmanship and digital innovation. Drawing from local superstitions, rituals, and folklore, he reimagines them in bold, contemporary visual narratives that bridge the mystical and the modern.

In 2019, he founded Palette Artspace in Bangkok, a gallery dedicated to nurturing emerging artists. Through projects like White Canvas Thailand, an art contest spotlighting young Thai talent, he has built platforms that merge opportunity with creativity. His curatorial portfolio spans over a decade and includes provocative exhibitions exploring cultural identity, eroticism, and the evolving boundaries of digital and AI-generated art.

His character design work has reached global audiences, from the 8 Bits Miss Universe NFT series for Meta Thailand to StrayPups, the space dog mascot for a NASA CanSat Competition-winning team, exhibited in New York’s virtual and physical spaces. As an advisor in NFT and metaverse projects, he continues to push the boundaries of art’s digital frontier.
