Solo Exhibition by Inkarat

This solo exhibition is a journey back into the artist’s “safe space of imagination.” Through a series of oil paintings, Inkarat Suphadit explores her memories, dreams, and innermost self by creating a fictional character named HOME, a fluffy, wide-eyed figure assembled from fragments of those she loves: family members, pets, and cherished childhood belongings. Each painting becomes a home built from within a place to hide, to be fully oneself, and to gently heal in a world that can sometimes be overwhelming.

“Home is me on the days I dare to dream.”

 In HOME’s world, dreamlike scenes unfold in sheep-filled meadows, nighttime amusement parks, flower gardens, treehouses, and playgrounds from the artist’s youth. Beloved pop culture characters are subtly hidden throughout, not just for nostalgia, but as vessels for emotional release—joy, loneliness, and longing rendered tenderly in paint. Symbols of flowers, seasons, and shifting atmospheres mirror the changing states of mind and moments of life.

By opening her inner world through art, Inkarat invites viewers to reflect inward as well:

 What kind of inner world have you once lived in?

 Did you have a “home” within yourself? A character in your heart who helped you stay grounded or escape?

 Mind Home is more than a series of images it’s a gentle invitation to reconnect with the part of ourselves we may have forgotten, yet still quietly lives within.
