“41 Dollars, 10,000 BTC, and the Beginning of Belief”
On May 22, 2010, the world witnessed a moment that transformed Bitcoin from a technological experiment into something tangible: two pizzas purchased with 10,000 BTC, worth approximately 41 USD at the time.
What once seemed like a simple online transaction would later become one of the most iconic moments in digital economic history — the first real-world proof that cryptocurrency could function as a medium of exchange.
This exhibition brings together 13 artists to reinterpret the spirit of Bitcoin Pizza Day through contemporary visual art. Across painting, symbolism, digital aesthetics, and cultural narratives, the works explore questions surrounding value, belief, speculation, and the evolving meaning of currency in the digital age.
At its core, this exhibition is not only about Bitcoin.
It is about faith in new ideas.
It is about risk, experimentation, and the courage to imagine a different future.
The infamous “10,000 BTC pizza purchase” is often remembered as the most expensive pizza in history. Yet beyond its monetary value, it represents the moment humanity collectively began assigning trust and meaning to decentralized digital systems.
Today, the market value of 10,000 BTC may be unimaginable.
But the cultural value of that transaction remains priceless.
Because when creating an exhibition about crypto culture, we couldn’t resist celebrating it inside one of the most iconic digital spaces born during the blockchain boom era — the Metaverse. 
Our virtual exhibition space allows visitors from anywhere in the world to experience the artworks of all 14 participating artists together in an immersive digital environment, almost as if you were walking inside the gallery itself.

วันที่ 22 พฤษภาคม 2553 คือวันที่โลกได้เห็นว่า “Bitcoin” ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแนวคิดทางเทคโนโลยี แต่สามารถแลกเปลี่ยนเป็นสิ่งที่จับต้องได้จริง ผ่านพิซซ่า 2 ถาดที่ถูกซื้อด้วย 10,000 BTC มูลค่าราว 41 ดอลลาร์ในวันนั้น
จากธุรกรรมเล็ก ๆ บนอินเทอร์เน็ต กลายเป็นเหตุการณ์สำคัญที่เปลี่ยนมุมมองของผู้คนต่อ “มูลค่า” “เงิน” และ “ความเชื่อ” ในยุคดิจิทัล
นิทรรศการครั้งนี้รวบรวมศิลปิน 13 คน มาร่วมตีความเหตุการณ์ Bitcoin Pizza Day ผ่านผลงานศิลปะในหลากหลายรูปแบบ ทั้งจิตรกรรม ภาพร่วมสมัย สัญลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรม และภาษาทางดิจิทัล เพื่อสะท้อนคำถามสำคัญว่า
“อะไรคือสิ่งที่ทำให้บางสิ่งมีมูลค่า?”
พิซซ่า 2 ถาดในวันนั้น อาจเคยถูกมองว่าเป็นการใช้เงินที่ “แพงที่สุดในประวัติศาสตร์” แต่ในอีกมุมหนึ่ง มันคือราคาของการพิสูจน์ว่าแนวคิดใหม่สามารถกลายเป็นความจริงได้
งานชุดนี้จึงไม่ได้พูดถึงเพียง Bitcoin แต่พูดถึง “ศรัทธา” การทดลอง ความกล้าที่จะเชื่อในอนาคต และช่วงเวลาที่โลกเริ่มเปลี่ยนผ่านเข้าสู่เศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลอย่างแท้จริง
